After the journey back to San Jose, our group ventured to the Pacuare River on Tuesday for an exciting day of white water rafting. Everyone enjoyed navigating the rapids and getting a chance for more swimming surrounded by Costa Rica’s lush green nature.

Last night, we shared our final meal together at our Farewell Dinner at Cafe Munro in San Jose. Students received certificates highlighting the 72 hours of community service they completed over the past three weeks, and we shared highlights from our journey. Our group question for the evening was “what do you think has changed the most about you since arriving?” We loved hearing everyone’s unique responses. It was a great way to see the special impacts international travel can have on each of us.

Our group is officially home from our wonderful adventure in Costa Rica. Kelly and Sam would like to say muchísimas gracias to this fantastic group of students who made this program such a success! We sincerely enjoyed our time with you all throughout our adventures, and we wish you all the best in the future.
